TRAINING RATHER THAN TRIAL AND ERROR

In Regensburg we offer customers from all over the world a completely equipped training center with all the latest MR on-load tap-changers as well as older models. Also makes from Siemens, AEG and TU (Trafo Union)
Our trainers are specialists for on-load tap-changers with experience gained in their many years of working in the service team. This makes it possible to offer a sound, practically-orientated training program especially tailored to suite your needs, with a degree of quality and depth that is unique anywhere in the world. MR training centers are also in Suzhou (China), Sao Paulo (Brazil) and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), there will be also one in Johannesburg (South Africa).

There is a theoretical part in which you will be instructed in depth about the on-load tap-changer and various control products and their interaction with the transformer.
Then in the practical part of the training you will have all the most important functional models from the MR product range from the last decades at your disposal. These include: an oil compartment with on-load tap-changer insert, tap selectors, motor drives, drive shafts and protective devices. In other words you can train the complete service procedure. MR service manuals are used as the basis for the training. In addition the retrofitting of certain components from the latest state-of-the-art manufacturing are presented. We can also offer simulations for failure detection for the different motor drive types in addition to the routine control procedures.
We offer transformer manufacturers specially designed training programs for the handling of on-load tap-changers in the transformer plant. Naturally there is also the option of having on-load tap-changer training on site in your transformer station or plant.
